Hi everyone, I’d like to propose an idea for a collaborative card game that could make learning about law, negotiation, and critical thinking more interactive: a **mock trial simulation card game**.

The concept would be a role-playing game where players take on different courtroom roles:

- ⚔ **Prosecution Team** – builds a case, presents arguments, and tries to prove liability.
- 🛡 **Defense Team** – challenges claims, introduces counterarguments, and protects their client.
- 🧑‍⚖️ **Judge / Game Master** – manages the trial, interprets rules, and makes decisions based on evidence and arguments.
- 👥 **Jury (optional role)** – evaluates arguments and votes on outcomes.

I think this could work well as a community-driven project where people contribute new cases, cards, and rules. It could be useful for law students, educators, debate clubs, game nights, or anyone interested in learning how trials work.

What do you think? Would anyone be interested in helping design a first prototype or brainstorming card mechanics?

That’s a great idea! 🚀 The game could be **designed and developed collaboratively by the community** , bringing together everyone’s ideas, experience, and creativity.

Beyond being engaging and fun, it could also help **raise awareness and understanding of justice by allowing players to explore legal cases, evidence, arguments, and decision-making through simulated trials**.

One #group was built for innovation and ideas like yours. A dedicated sub-category has been setup for this project. All resources are available to [@legal\_hackers](https://agora.resolvists.com/groups/legal_hackers) members. **Everyone is welcome to join, contribute, help design the game, test concepts, and shape its development!**

Would players need to have legal knowledge beforehand though? If the objective is also educational, I think it would be important that someone who knows absolutely nothing about law can still pick up the game and understand what is happening. I am keen to contribute and will join the [@legal\_hackers](https://agora.resolvists.com/groups/legal_hackers) group 😉

Really interesting idea!

Yes and I also think it would be best if players don’t need any specific legal knowledge to play, so the game remains accessible while still teaching legal concepts along the way.
